FAQ
Audience alignment is the degree to which a piece of communication matches the knowledge, context, priorities, and decision-making posture of its intended audience.
Most communication that fails does not fail because it is poorly written. It fails because it is well written for the wrong audience. Audience alignment is the highest-leverage variable in business communication, and it is also the most consistently underinvested in. Mature audience alignment uses explicit audience profiles attached to recurring communications, opens with what changes for the reader, and adjusts framing without changing facts.
