Writing Governance

Content Moderation Policy

We use automated and human review to keep the platform from being used to produce content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, Community Standards, or applicable law.

What Triggers Review

Automated systems flag patterns associated with prohibited use — including attempts to produce content prohibited by our Content Policy, abuse-pattern indicators, and reports from users.

How Reviews Are Conducted

Flagged activity is reviewed by trained personnel against documented criteria. We aim to weigh context, including legitimate professional, journalistic, educational, and creative uses.

Enforcement Actions

Actions range from in-product warnings and feature limits to account suspension or termination. Severe or repeated violations escalate.

Notification and Appeal

Affected users are notified where lawful and practical and may appeal to trust@writingtoolspro.com. Appeals are reviewed by someone other than the original decision-maker.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We cooperate with valid legal process and report content where required by law. We do not provide proactive surveillance of user activity beyond what is necessary to operate and protect the platform.
