Account Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
You may use WritingToolsPro for lawful professional and personal writing purposes. You may not use the product to produce content that violates our Content Policy, to attempt to compromise the product's security, to reverse-engineer or extract our proprietary models, or to resell access to the product without a written agreement.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us the limited license necessary to process your content to provide the product (e.g. routing it through AI features you invoke, storing it in your account, displaying it to you and to collaborators you authorize). We do not claim ownership of your writing.
Our Content
Articles, templates, glossary entries, research summaries, academy modules, and other editorial content published by us are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may quote, link to, and share excerpts with attribution for legitimate professional purposes; bulk republication or commercial use requires written permission.
Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence you select. You can cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to our published refund policy and applicable law.
Service Availability
We work to keep the service available and performant but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where reasonable; emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our policies, that present a material security or legal risk, or that have been inactive for an extended period (with prior notice).
Disclaimers
The product is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We disclaim implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. AI-generated content is a recommendation, not a guarantee of accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose; you remain responsible for content you publish or send.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in our customer agreement (for paid customers) or the laws of the U.S. state in which we are headquartered (for free users), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved in the courts located there, unless an enforceable arbitration clause applies.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
