Intended Use
Our tools are intended to improve, refine, and edit the user's own writing, to assist with paraphrasing and summarization where the underlying ideas are properly attributed, and to support legitimate research and drafting.
Misuse Is Not Supported
Using AI assistance to submit work the user did not author in contexts where authorship is required (e.g. academic, professional credentialing, employment writing samples) violates the trust placed in the user by their institution or employer.
Encouraging Proper Attribution
Users should cite sources for borrowed ideas, quote directly when reproducing passages, paraphrase responsibly with attribution, and disclose AI assistance where the recipient's policies require it.
Tools, Not Verdicts
We do not operate a plagiarism-detection service and do not certify any piece of text as original. Users are responsible for ensuring originality consistent with the standards that apply to their work.
