Corrections Policy

We aim for accuracy in every published article, template, glossary entry, and policy page. When we get something wrong, we correct it publicly and on the record.

How to Report a Concern

Email corrections@writingtoolspro.com with the URL, the passage in question, what you believe is incorrect, and any supporting sources. Reports of broken functionality or outdated guidance are welcome through the same channel.

How We Triage

Reports are acknowledged within two business days. Substantive concerns are routed to the editor of record for the content. Non-substantive copyediting fixes are corrected silently; substantive corrections are made on the record.

How Corrections Are Surfaced

Material corrections — changes that alter meaning or guidance — are noted at the top of the page with the date and a brief description of what changed. Corrections affecting safety or legal interpretation are surfaced for at least 30 days.

Retraction

Where an article cannot be salvaged through correction, we retract it with an explanation that remains at the URL. We do not silently delete published work.

Record-Keeping

Every correction is logged with date, scope, reporter (where consent is given), and reviewer.
